After lunch at a local restaurant, we drive to west Jinja on the shows of Lake Victoria.

Considered the adventure capital of Uganda, it is famous for the excellent weather, scenic beauty as well as so many fun and adventure activities offered on the river, in the lake and on land including (at extra charge) Whitewater Rafting on the Nile's rapids, Bungee Jumping, Quad Biking, Boat Rides on Lake Victoria to the zero-point of the Nile, Horse riding, Scenic flights or just sightseeing around the town and beautiful farmlands. Jinja is also the special spot in the world selected by Mahatma Gandhi, father of modern day India, for his ashes be scattered when he died; says a lot about Uganda's, and Jinja's, stunning beauty. The Gandhi memorial is a worthwhile site to stop by on sightseeing tour around town.
